The South County Vipers Clay Target Program is a learn to shoot and team based youth development and education program for boys and girls, grades 6 through 12 pending safety training requirements as well as a final safety field day with one of the coaches. The coaches & adult volunteers wish to instill safe & responsible gun handling from storage to cleaning to transportation. We feel with positive reinforcement we can help build the character of our youth team members to respect others, form lasting relationships & strengthen family bonds within our communities. We will stress that winning is desired but will not take precedence over behavior, respect & sportsmanship.

All youth who can physically and safely handle a shotgun to our standards, are encouraged to participate. If you are wondering if this program is for you, come and join us for an evening.

We shoot every Tuesday from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm for Trap and every Thursday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm for Sporting Clays at the Jacksonville Sportsman Club
